The House Crew
The House Crew are a UK breakbeat hardcore and rave group associated with the Production House label. The name first appears as the label’s own crew name before becoming an act linked to releases by Floyd Dyce and, later, Acen.
Early releases
The first House Crew hit is All We Wanna Do Is Dance, released in 1989 and written by Jamal, Jones and Malkani. In 1991, Keep The Fire Burning appears under the House Crew name and marks Floyd Dyce settling on the alias more firmly.
Key recordings and collaborators
The group later records We Are Hardcore, a collaboration with Acen Razvi, and also releases The Theme. The act is rooted in old school hardcore and breakbeat-driven rave music, and its recorded history is closely tied to the UK hardcore scene of the early 1990s.
Related work
Original member and frontman Nino, also associated with The Gun, Future of Latin and Euphoria-Nino’s Dream, goes on to write, produce and remix material for Baby D, Eternal, Peter Andre, Darkman, DMS, Sarah Cracknell of St Etienne, X-static and Acen.
