The Hidden Persuader

The Hidden Persuader is an electronic act based in South Wales, UK, and a member of the Access Tonal Communications collective. The project works with modular and granular sound sources, re-synthesising and arranging them into direct, experimental tonal pieces. Its approach includes circuit bending and the reworking of equipment from Access Tonal Communication studios, with the results appearing across its ongoing releases.

The Hidden Persuader has broad radio exposure, including airplay on Radio 1 after a live session for Rob da Bank’s One Music show in 2006. That session leads to live appearances alongside Bass Junkie, Uprokk, Cylob, LegoWelt and Dexorcist. The act is also signed to Bass4Bots, a label based in Berlin.
