The Hics

The Hics are a London-based British R&B duo. Their line-up includes Roxane on vocals and guitar, and Sam Paul Evans on vocals, synths and electronics. Other members listed with the group are Matt Knox on bass, Geordan Reid Campbell, also known as Eclectic, on guitar and electronics, Jacob Welsh, also known as Young Fury, on drums, and David Turay on saxophone.

The group works across electronic, indie pop, electronica, soul and indie, with an emphasis on vocals, guitar, synths and layered electronic textures. Their arrangement also includes saxophone samples and skittering rhythms, combining live instrumentation with programmed and electronic elements.
