The Heatwave
The Heatwave is a UK dancehall and bashment production crew, active since 2003. The name has also been used by other acts, including a Dutch sixties freakbeat band from Dordrecht in the Netherlands.

The Dutch Heatwave group plays sixties freakbeat and does not receive an official record release in the 1960s. Later, Grey Past Recordings issues 23 studio recordings and four-track demos dating from 1967 to 1969 on LP, followed by a limited CD edition titled Honeymelon Teapot in 2010. After the band ends, its members appear in other Dordrecht sixties beat groups including The Zipps and Inca Bullet Joe.
