The Hat is a Brighton group associated with indie folk, folk and rock. It is signed to Sunday Best Records.

Members and instrumentation

The group includes David Stenhouse, who plays foley, tuned percussion, sings, plays guitar and doubles on double bass. Other listed members are Dan Clark, a storyteller, MC, singer, guitarist and trumpeter; Dave Sanderson, a singer, drummer, vocal scratcher and pianist; and Buster Cottam, a double bassist, singer, trombonist and occasional drummer.
