The Green River Burial
The Green River Burial is a German metal group from Frankfurt, Hesse, formed in 2008. Their sound is described through hardcore punk, melodic hardcore and metalcore, with references in the band's own wording to hardcore, deathcore and beatdown. The line-up is presented as four members whose different musical tastes and energy shape the band's material.
Releases
The band first issues a demo in mid-2009. It then releases a self-produced EP, Means To An End, in February 2010. This release also brings the group's first official video, for Face To Face With The Horror, created by ambitious.films. In 2012, the band releases its debut full-length album, Separate & Coalesce, through Bastardized Recordings.
Live activity
The Green River Burial plays shows, tours and festivals with acts including Suicide Silence, Architects, The Acacia Strain, Counterparts, Breakdown Of Sanity, Nasty, Heart In Hand and Your Demise. The group is also noted for an energetic live performance and a strong online presence.
