The Gibson Brothers
The name The Gibson Brothers is used by more than one act. One is a Latin disco trio made up of Chris Gibson, Patrick Gibson and Alex Gibson, who are from Martinique and begin recording in 1976. This group releases fourteen albums and numerous EPs.
Another act with the same name is a bluegrass group from upstate New York. That version of The Gibson Brothers includes brothers Eric Gibson and Leigh Gibson, along with Junior Barber and his son Mike Barber. Eric Gibson writes, plays banjo and sings, while Leigh Gibson writes, plays guitar and sings. Junior Barber plays resophonic guitar and Mike Barber plays acoustic bass.
