The F.U.'S

The F.U.'S are a Boston hardcore punk group formed in 1981. The band begins as a three-piece hardcore punk act and is known for using the abbreviated name FU's before later changing their name to Straw Dogs in 1986. They return to the F.U.'s name in 2010 and remain active.

Their sound is rooted in Boston hardcore punk, and the later Straw Dogs period moves toward heavy metal before the original name is restored. The group is associated with a long list of members including John Sox, Bob Furapples, Steve Grimes, Wayne Maestri, Bones, Steve Martin, Josh Sievers, Jones Stunt, Ian King and Ed Lynch.
