The Funeral Portrait
The Funeral Portrait is an Atlanta group led by Lee Jennings. The band works in alternative rock, emo and rock, and is also described as a post-hardcore act with metalcore, metal and progressive metal associations.
The lineup includes Lee Jennings on vocals, Cody W. on guitar, Rob W. on bass, Caleb F. on guitar and keys, and Homer U. on drums. Their sound combines rock and roll, punk rock and theatrical elements, with songs focused on themes of love, loss, anger and grief.
The band becomes active in late 2014 and quickly builds a heavy live schedule, completing more than 20 tours. On the road, it shares bills with Alesana, Emery, Islander and Capture The Crown, and also performs alongside Underoath, Issues, PVRIS, August Burns Red, 10 Years, Starset and Escape The Fate.
