The Fall of Troy
The Fall of Troy is a post-hardcore band from Mukilteo, Washington, United States. It forms in 2002 and remains active. Its core lineup consists of Thomas Erak on guitar and vocals, Tim Ward on bass and vocals, and Andrew Forsman on drums. The group’s broader membership also includes Frank Ene and Jon-Henry Batts.
Line-up and activity
Tim Ward leaves the band in 2007 and is replaced by Frank Ene. In 2010, Thomas Erak announces that the band is parting ways after an upcoming tour. During the period from 2010 to 2013, Erak forms Just Like Vinyl and joins Chiodos. Forsman also joins The Monday Mornings, and Frank Black joins Chineke. The original lineup reunites for three shows in December 2013 in Austin, Texas.
Releases and recordings
At the reunion shows, the band says it will continue making music and later releases a free album in 2014. Its album OK is self-released through the band’s website on a pay-what-you-want basis, with a vinyl edition also issued. An alternate mix, OK #2, follows and is described as closer in sound to the band’s earlier material. Instrumental versions of both mixes appear as OK #3.1 and OK #3.2.
