A few feet down somewhere, in a dimly-lit but user-friendly ditch between Sonic Youth and Berlin-era Iggy Pop, sat bolt upright wearing 3D Glasses, lurks The Fag Machine! You don't have to get the Lindsay Anderson reference in the title to separate this oddball five-piece from the pan-stick emo-crowd. This is beat-punk of the strangest and most energetic kind.
