The Escape Artist

The Escape Artist is a five-piece metalcore band from Teesside in the North East of England. The group fuses heavy metal with the UK hardcore sound and is influenced by August Burns Red, Unearth, Underoath and Architects. Its early material includes a demo, and the band offers free downloads.

Under the same name, there is also a separate music project described as performing songs from imaginary films. That project presents live shows with piano and/or violin accompaniment, and it describes itself as a music project rather than a personal solo work.
