The Erised

The Erised are a Ukrainian downtempo electronic group active since 2014. The lineup centres on Aniel Arin and includes drum & bass producers Detail and Hidden Element, as well as instrumentalists with backgrounds in jazz, rock and pop. Sonya, a dancer turned singer-songwriter, also forms part of the collective.

The group’s debut release is the Desire EP, which includes the tracks “Pray” and “It’s Over”. These songs help establish their following among listeners across Europe and further afield. In performance, The Erised appear as a full five-piece band, with live shows described as haunting and hypnotic. They are also associated with Med School’s roster of DJs.
