The Drink

The Drink are a London-based group that has been active since 2012. The band consists of Dearbhla Minogue on vocals and guitar, David Stewart on bass, and Daniel Fordham on drums.

They play indie rock with a distinctive guitar-led style, described in terms of jagged pop, fractured melody and a propulsive rhythm section. Their sound is associated with the influence of Deerhoof, The Breeders and Talking Heads.

Outside the band, Dearbhla Minogue is also a member of The Wharves and sometimes plays with Shield Your Eyes. David Stewart and Daniel Fordham previously form the rhythm section of the London pop-post-rock group Fighting Kites.
