The Dodge Brothers
The Dodge Brothers are a British group from Southampton, active since 1996. They play country and rockabilly-rooted music and are also associated with Americana, skiffle, bluegrass, folk and blues.

The group includes film critic and BBC television presenter Mark Kermode, along with Mike Hammond and Aly Hirji.
Style and repertoire
The band uses a hillbilly and skiffle setup built around guitars, banjo, slap bass and harmonica, without drums. Their sound leans toward rockabilly, while their material draws on older songs. Kermode describes the band’s subject matter as songs about transport and homicide, with occasional drunkenness.
Notable appearance
The Dodge Brothers perform on the BBC Two programme The Culture Show, which Kermode co-presents, in May 2007.
