The Dirty Tricks

The Dirty Tricks are a rock band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, formed in 2003. They are a Canadian punk-influenced underground rock group and are not the same act as the earlier rock band of the same name that records for Polydor Records in the late 1970s.

Career

The band tours with Malajube and The Sainte Catherines, and shares stages with acts including NOFX, Against Me! and The (International) Noise Conspiracy. Their first single is used as the theme song for the skateboarding television programme The Under Attack Show, which airs on Musique Plus and the Razer channel, later known as MTV2. Two other songs appear on Fast Cars and Superstars: The Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race on ABC.

Releases and recognition

The Dirty Tricks have four albums. They win a MIMI award in 2008 and receive two GAMIQ award nominations.
