The Difference Engine
The Difference Engine is a music group active since 2004, associated with The 8mm Fuzz, Ochmoneks and Pyotr. The name has also been used for a solo project by Christopher G. Brown, who is linked with Vary Lumar and has also been involved with 8mm fuzz, pyotr and Ochmoneks. Under that solo moniker, Brown begins releasing synthpop and industrial music in 2005 and plays live regularly.
The solo project’s releases include Strange Aeons, which appears in 2013. The name also refers to a separate Difference Engine, a mid-1990s shoegazing band from Rhode Island.
