The Commentators is a one-off name used for the 1985 UK single “N-N-Nineteen Not Out”, recorded by the impressionist Rory Bremner as a parody of Paul Hardcastle’s number one hit “19”. The recording enters the UK Singles Chart for seven weeks and peaks at number 13.

The track uses Bremner’s impressions of BBC television and radio cricket commentators including Richie Benaud, Brian Johnston, Jim Laker and Fred Trueman. It replaces Hardcastle’s references to the Vietnam War with cricket references, especially the 1984 Test series between England and the West Indies, in which England captain David Gower averages 19, and the 1932–33 “Bodyline” tour.

The single also appears on the compilation album Now That’s What I Call Music 5.
