The Casino Brawl
The Casino Brawl is a post-hardcore band from Newcastle and Sunderland in the United Kingdom. The group forms in 2006 and includes Jonny Ferguson on vocals, Adam Ridley on guitar and vocals, Marc Henessey on guitar, Jamie Common on bass and James Summersby on drums.
Background
All five members have prior experience in other respected bands. The Casino Brawl record a first four-song demo at Outhouse Studios in November 2006. Their material sits across post-hardcore, metalcore, melodic metalcore and hardcore, with a strong British underground association.
Live activity and releases
The band builds a reputation through energetic live shows and plays numerous dates across Europe. In the UK, they sell out venues including Newcastle Academy on more than one occasion. They also perform with Young Guns, Deaf Havana, Flood of Red, Glamour of the Kill, Bring Me The Horizon, Eternal Lord, Poison The Well, Anvil, Saxon and First Blood.
The Casino Brawl release the split The Regression in 2008, alongside First Signs of Frost and Elias Last Day. Their other releases include Save Yourself From The Gates Of Hell in 2006 and Shades / Directions in 2009. The band’s final show takes place in March 2012.
