The BV’s are an indie pop band from Falmouth, UK and Augsburg, Germany. They formed in 2016 when Frederik Jehle (of the German band Endlich Blüte) moved to Falmouth for six months for university and met Josh Turner (the bassist from punk band Planet Jazz). Realising their shared love of indie pop, shoegaze and krautrock, they started to write and record music in their shared house, completing twelve songs before Fred moved back to Augsburg. After releasing a cassette EP, "Runaway Neon", in December 2016 with Greek label Melotron Recordings, The BV's released their first album, "Speaking from a Distance", with German label Kleine Untergrund Schallplatten in April 2017, to very positive reviews. The BV's will play their first live show in June 2017, opening for The Bats at the City Club in Ausgburg.
