The Bridge City Sinners
The Bridge City Sinners are a folk-punk and dark folk group from the Pacific Northwest. They use a traditional string-band lineup and draw on a wide range of styles, from prohibition-era jazz to Appalachian death folk. The group starts out busking on sidewalks across the United States before moving on to the national touring circuit.
The band plays festivals including Punk Rock Bowling, Muddy Roots, and Oregon’s Bluegrass String Summit. It releases music through its own label, Flail Records, reflecting a DIY approach. Its album Unholy Hymns reaches number 70 on the Billboard current album sales chart for the week of 4 September 2021.
