The Brides is a goth rock group from New York, United States. The name also refers to another punk rock act from Chicago, but the New York group is identified with goth rock, deathrock, horror punk, gothabilly, psychobilly and rock.

The group’s sound combines horror-themed imagery with a wide mix of styles, including deathrock, pop, old punk, new wave, rockabilly, ska and touches of disco, alongside gothic elements. Its arrangements feature jagged bass, morbid lyrics, organ and choppy rhythm guitar, with songs described as catchy and close to anthemic, while still remaining outside radio-friendly formats.
