The Boy with the Lion Head is a five-piece band from Hawick in the Scottish Borders. It plays a mix of ambient, experimental and melodic alternative rock, performing in and around the central belt of Scotland.

The band cites influences ranging from Frightened Rabbit to Silver Mt. Zion. It also self-records and has completed an eight-track album of acoustic songs.
