The Bonny Men

The Bonny Men are an Irish trad/folk band formed in January 2011. The group consists of seven musicians: Natalie Ni Chasaide on keyboard, her brother Maitiu on uilleann pipes, Conor Lyons on bodhrán, Barry Lyons on guitar, Adam Whelan on bouzouki, Moss Landman on flute and Turlough Chambers on fiddle. They are known for a dynamic approach to traditional Irish music and for the range of individual awards and accolades held by the members.

The band has played festivals across Ireland and Europe, as well as in India and Indonesia. Their television appearances include Ráisín on TG4 and Cuisle on BBC, and they are also the subject of a TG4 documentary, Ar Thóir an Cheoil.

The Bonny Men release an eponymous debut album in 2011, which spends months at the top of the Irish Music Charts. Their second album, Moyne Road, follows with a mix of traditional tunes and original songs, including material in both Irish and English.
