The Blind Shake are a punk band from Minneapolis, United States, active since 2005. The group is a garage punk and garage rock act with a detuned, garage-stomp sound. It is made up of brothers Mike Blaha and Jim Blaha, with Mike Blaha on baritone guitar and Jim Blaha on regular guitar, and longtime friend Dave Roper on drums.
Career and collaborations
The band is known for intense live performances and for working with psychedelic noise musician Michael Yonkers. The Blind Shake also tour North American basements and bars, and they build a catalogue through albums and singles on a range of independent labels.

The Blind Shake release include Old Lines Sore Bones on Fort Gezeppi in 2004, Rizzograph on Learning Curve in 2005, Carmel on Learning Curve in 2007, Weepyman, a split 7-inch with Birthday Suits, on Learning Curve in 2008, Soft Zodiac on Learning Curve in 2009, Seriousness on Learning Curve Records in 2011, and Labor Day/Orange Whip, a 7-inch on Am Rep in 2011.

Their collaboration with Michael Yonkers includes Carbohydrates Hydrocarbons, issued as an LP on Nero's Neptune and as a CD on Go Johnny Go and Farm Girl Records in England, We'll Do Some Thinking, a split 7-inch with Kulfi on Divine Comedy Records in 2008, Cold Town, an EP on Learning Curve Records in 2009, and Period on S-S Records in 2011.
