The Black Delta Movement

The Black Delta Movement are a garage rock and roll group from Kingston upon Hull. They form in 2010 and remain active. Their sound is described as heavy garage rock, and they are also associated with psychedelic rock.

Line-up

The group’s lineup includes Matthew Burr on guitar and vocals, Dominic Abbott on guitar and vocals, and Liam Kerman on bass. Jacob Tillison plays drums, and Joe Gray plays drums and percussion.

Releases

Since forming in July 2010, the band release five EPs: God In Exile, Peach Flavoured Hand Grenade, Lavender House, Ghost Dance and Seven Circles EP. They also release two singles, The Messenger/Femme Fatale and The Trip. The Trip is a cover of Kim Fowley’s 1965 garage rock track, and the band receives his blessing for the release.
