The Big Easy is a New Jersey rock band led by frontman Stephen Berthomieux. The project begins in northern New Jersey and later follows Berthomieux to Brooklyn, New York.

The line-up changes over time, with a rotating cast of musicians accompanying Berthomieux rather than a fixed permanent membership.

The band is associated with lo-fi, indie, rock, punk and alternative music.
