The Bastard Sons
The Bastard Sons is a hard rock, stoner rock, heavy metal and stoner metal group made up of former members of bands from around York. The line-up draws on musicians with a wide range of genre experience, and the group forms from that mix of backgrounds rather than from a single established scene.
Activity and releases
In 2012, the band signs a distribution deal with Lockjaw Records. That same year, it plays shows with The Fear, RSJ, River City Ransom, theFallen and Tomorrow We Radio, among others. In August, it releases the Bones EP, which is available through the band’s shop, through Lockjaw Records and via major online retailers.
Tours and live work
The Bastard Sons also plans a European tour in October and continues to build a live schedule alongside other performances. Its early activity centres on establishing the band through recordings, distribution and support slots with similar acts.
