The Barberettes

The Barberettes are a Korean girl group from South Korea, active since 2012. They perform a harmony-based style rooted in 1950s and 1960s doo-wop, with elements described as a Korean traditional twist. The group is made up of Sunnie, 김은혜, 박소희 and 안신애.

Background

The group forms in late 2012, originally as a project made for fun. It is based in Seoul and performs at music venues in Korea. The act is known in Korean as 바버렛츠.

Releases

The Barberettes release their debut album in 2014.
