The Austin Francis Connection, also known as The AFC, is a three-piece British acoustic hip-hop band from Gloucester and Nottingham. Its line-up includes Edi Johnston on MC duties, Hobbit on beatbox and drum-and-bass sounds, and Mark Finney on acoustic guitar. The group combines acoustic performance with hip hop and beatboxing, and is described as working in a relaxed, groove-based style.

Performances and activity

The band builds support through touring and appearances at festivals across the UK. Their festival appearances include Godiva, Wychwood, H3, NthFest and Greenbelt. The group is also noted as spending time in the studio working on material for its first full album.
