The August List

The August List is an Oxfordshire-based folk and country group described as a boy-and-girl two-piece playing “backwards country” and porch folk with a rock and roll edge. The act begins in Dorset and now lives in a small barn on a hill in Oxfordshire.

Its core sound uses acoustic guitars, kick drums, harmonicas and vocals, and its songs focus on themes of life, love, death and making merry. The group releases two EPs on Ubiquity Project Records: Handsome Skin and High Town Crow, followed by the album O Hinterland.

The full band includes Kerraleigh Child on vocals, Martin Child on guitar, Ryan Quarterman on bass, Ben Heaney on violin, Richard Neuberg on guitar and Tommy Longfellow on drums.
