The Anydays

The Anydays are a three-piece band from Oxford who write short, direct pop songs with clear influences from 1960s and British guitar groups. Their sound draws on the Kinks, the Beatles, the Jam and the La’s, and their material is built around strong melodies and solid beats.

Style and performance

The band place emphasis on both the sound and the visual presentation of the act, with their stage show described as a lean, filler-free set designed to keep attention through to the end. Their songs sit within indie pop and mod-influenced indie, with the emphasis on concise writing and classic pop structures.

Recording

The Anydays record their debut album at Toerag Studios in London, a studio associated with classic 1960s equipment and with the desk used on the Beatles’ Revolver. The studio is also known for its link to the White Stripes’ Elephant.
