The Afterparty

The Afterparty is an alternative rock band from Adelaide, South Australia. The group forms in early 2009 as a trio, bringing together Brad Gilbertson of In Fiction, Lachlan Higgs, and Lee Norman, who is formerly part of the digital music production group The Metronicle.

The band’s music combines atmospheric soundscapes and a minimalist approach with hard-hitting rock choruses. Its songs are described as short stories about the complications and ironies of human life.
