Terry Poison

Terry Poison is a Tel Aviv-based electroclash and electronic group formed in 2004. The band’s line-up includes Louise Kahn on vocals and Bruno Grife on production and synth bass, with Anna Landesman on production, synth guitar and backing vocals. The group also works with drummers Daisy Palmer, who is associated with Goldfrapp, and Roy Cheled.

Sound and style

The group’s music combines samplers, guitar riffs, analogue synths and heavy, apocalyptic beats. Its sound sits across electronic, synthpop and electropop, with female vocals playing a central role.

Live activity and touring

Terry Poison is known for an energetic live show and has toured internationally. The group shares stages with acts including Justice and Calvin Harris, and opens for Depeche Mode. It also appears at festivals including Zigeth, Fusion and Rock en Seine, and performs at fashion week events in London, Paris and Los Angeles.

Recordings and releases

The group releases music through the Paris-based label Ekleroshock, including work associated with Data and Danger. Its debut album is titled Terry Poison. Three tracks from the album reach number one on national radio charts in Israel. The song “Little Doll” is written and recorded as the theme song for the TV serial Dolls and gains more than 10 million views on YouTube.

Remixes and collaborations

TP recordings are remixed by The Twelves, Don Rimini, Ashton Shuffle and Data. In 2010, Depeche Mode selects the group to open for them at Ramat Gan Stadium.

Later activity

The group is working on a second album, along with a new video clip and a video game app.
