Tenderlonious is the performing name of Edward Cawthorne, a London-based electronic musician, saxophonist and flautist. He works as a producer, DJ and composer, and he founds and runs the 22a record label.

His work is associated with artists including Al Dobson Jr, Henry Wu, Jeen Bassa, Reginald Omas Mamode and Mo Kolours. The 22a label is linked to the group Ruby Rushton.

His musical approach draws on eastern jazz, the sampling style of J Dilla, and study with saxophonists including Gilad Atzmon and Pat Crumly, who has worked with Ronnie Scott. He also contributes saxophone to Paul White’s Shaker Notes release on R&S.
