Temper City is an American indie-rock project formed by singer-songwriter Eytan Peled and the producer duo Sync, made up of Aviv Barenholtz and Chen Kordova. The trio comes together after five years of studio work behind the scenes of global pop, where they contribute to songs for major pop and EDM artists and accumulate hundreds of millions of streams.

Before launching Temper City, the three musicians work primarily as producers for other acts. They then decide that their strongest ideas come from making music under their own name, and Temper City becomes the result. The project draws on that background in polished pop production while shifting toward a more guitar-led indie-rock sound.

Their debut single is Self Aware. It arrives in 2026 and is described as an introduction to the project’s direction. A teaser for the track circulates widely on social media before the song’s official release in February 2026, attracting hundreds of thousands of likes and prompting fan-made videos.

Musically, Temper City combines elements of different indie periods, bringing together the raw energy associated with early-2000s indie and the more polished alternative-pop feel of the mid-2010s. The songs feature driving guitars and hook-focused songwriting.
