Telepathe

Telepathe is an experimental noise pop group from the United States, made up of Busy Gangnes and Melissa Livaudais. The name is pronounced “Telepathy”. The group begins in 2004 as a side project for Gangnes and Livaudais, who are both associated with Wikkid; Gangnes is from the prog-punk experimental group Wikkid, and Livaudais is also a guitarist with First Nation.

Style and formation

Telepathe’s music focuses on digital percussion and electronica, with an experimental noise pop approach. The group is based in Brooklyn, New York.

Releases

In 2007, Telepathe releases the Farewell Forest EP and the Sinister Militia 12-inch through The Social Registry. The following year, they issue the Chrome's On It EP and the Devil's Trident EP. Their debut full-length album, Dance Mother, is released in 2009 and is produced by Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio.
