TeenCanteen

TeenCanteen is a Scottish all-female indie pop group from Edinburgh, active since 2012. The line-up includes Carla J. Easton. The band’s early releases and live work centre on a run of singles and appearances across Scotland’s festival circuit.

Releases

The group releases its debut single, Honey, at the end of 2013. It is mixed by Bill Ryder-Jones and issued through Edinburgh Arts Collective Neu! Reekie!. The second single, You’re Still Mine, with the B-side Vagabond, is produced by Ziggy Campbell of FOUND, recorded at La Chunky studios and released on limited-edition frosted clear glitter 7-inch vinyl and digitally in 2014.

Live activity

TeenCanteen appears at major Scottish festivals including Wickerman and Doune The Rabbit Hole. The band also supports The Pastels, Wave Pictures, Evan Dando and Juliana Hatfield, and Stealing Sheep. In 2014 it is invited to perform a live session on Marc Riley’s BBC Radio 6 show and is selected for the T-Break Stage at T in the Park.
