Teddy Killerz

Teddy Killerz is a Russian bass music group made up of Grigory Cherekaev, Oleh Cholovskii and Anton Mashevsky. The act works across drum and bass, neurofunk, dubstep, bass house, club, dance and drumstep.

Formation and members

The project begins as a duo formed by Oleg Cholovskii and Anton Mashevsky, who work under the aliases Paimon and Place 2b. Grigory Cherekaev joins later, and the group operates as a trio. The members also use the names Garud, Paimon and Place 2b.

Releases and labels

The duo gains attention after a remix of Skrillex’s Make It Bun Dem enters his remix contest. Skrillex names them honorary winners and signs them to OWSLA. Their first original release for the label is the Toys Riot EP, a three-track release focused on trap. They also release music on UKF, VISION, Monstercat, Eatbrain and Souped Up.

Style

The group is best known for drum and bass, dubstep and breaks production, with a strong emphasis on neurofunk and heavier club-oriented electronic music.
