Taupe

Taupe is a Newcastle upon Tyne improvising group associated with progressive, jazz, experimental and rock influences. The lineup includes Jamie Stockbridge on alto saxophone, Mike Parr Burman on guitar, and Adam Stapleford on drums. The group draws on careful composition as well as spontaneous improvisation, and its sound also incorporates elements of hip-hop, metal and jazz.

The musicians are identified as coming from Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
