Tamer Nafar is a Palestinian rapper, actor, screenwriter and social activist with Israeli citizenship. He is the leader and a founding member of DAM, identified as the first Palestinian hip-hop group. He begins rapping as a teenager and is described as the world’s first Palestinian rapper. His work and public activity focus on the Palestinian struggle, women’s rights and the promotion of alternative art.
