T-Bone

T-Bone

T-Bone is a Christian rapper from Germany. He is of Hispanic, Black and white descent and is reported to be part Nicaraguan and part Salvadoran. In 2002, he becomes an ordained minister.

Recording career

He releases his first album, Redeemed Hoodlum, in 1991. He follows it with The Life of A Hoodlum in 1993, The Hoodlum's Testimony in 1995, and History of A Hoodlum-Compilation in 1997. In 2000, he releases The Last Street Preacha, which receives a Grammy Award nomination. Later releases include Gospelalphamegafunkyboogiediscomusic in 2003 and Bone-A-Fide in 2005. He also releases a greatest hits album, Bone-Appetit.

Film and stage work

In 2003, T-Bone appears in The Fighting Temptations as a rapping prisoner. He also performs as Jairus in the rock opera !Hero, alongside Michael Tait, Rebecca St. James and Mark Stuart.
