SynaptiK

SynaptiK is a British heavy metal group from the east coast of England, formed in 2012. Their music draws on thrash metal, power metal and progressive metal, and they also use death metal aggression alongside melodic and progressive ideas. The band’s sound is built from a mix of older and newer influences, with a strong emphasis on heavy riffs, dynamic vocals and melody.

Releases and collaborations

The band’s debut album is The Mechanisms of Consequence. They also release the single Your Cold Dead Trace, which includes guest vocals from Alan Tecchio, known for his work with Watchtower, Hades, Non Fiction, Seven Witches and Silent Assassins.

Live activity

SynaptiK perform at Bloodstock Festival 2014 after winning the Metal to the Masses band competition.
