Syn Cole is the stage name of Rene Pais, an Estonian DJ and producer from Pärnu, born in 1988. He signs to Avicii’s label LE7ELS and works in electronic dance music, including progressive house, trance and tech-trance.

He studies piano for seven years at music school before moving into production. His early interest in electronic music begins with a first hardware synthesiser and continues through experimentation with soft synths and Steinberg’s Cubase SX3, later moving to version 6.5. He cites Roger Sanchez, Mauro Picotto and Ferry Corsten as inspirations.

Before using the Syn Cole name, he releases music under various monikers. He also builds his DJ experience by performing in Canada, the UK, Ireland, Russia and the Netherlands. His profile rises after being taken on by LE7ELS, the record label associated with Avicii, and he is due to make his first appearance at Creamfields.
