Symphony Cult

Symphony Cult is a London-based rock group active since 2008. The band forms around Charlotte Lubbock on vocals, John Lovell on guitar and vocals, Byron Straker on bass, and Jack Slade on drums.

Style and influences

The group draws on gothic metal, hard rock, alternative rock and rock, and cites influences that include Alice in Chains, Alter Bridge, Incubus and Skunk Anansie. Its material develops from that mix of heavier rock and alternative styles.

Releases

Symphony Cult’s debut album is Rewind To Fast Forward. It receives a three-K rating from Kerrang! magazine and helps establish the band’s profile.

Live activity

The band builds its reputation through extensive touring in the UK and Europe. It appears alongside Sevendust, Kittie, InMe and Breed 77, and also performs with Katatonia, The Ghost of a Thousand, Exit Ten and This is Menace. Festival appearances include Download Festival in the UK, as well as Taubertal and Eschwege Open Flair in Germany.
