Sydney Ross Mitchell is a singer-songwriter from Lubbock, Texas. She grows up listening to early 2000s country music and shows an interest in music from an early age, despite not coming from a particularly musical family. Songwriting becomes her main outlet and the part of music that comes most naturally to her.

Career

As her interest in music develops into a career, she moves to Nashville, Tennessee with her mentor and spends time writing songs and drawing inspiration from the city. She later returns to Lubbock to record her first EP, then moves to Los Angeles, where she is based. Her sound is associated with folk, grunge, alternative, singer-songwriter, and pop rock.
