Surrender The Coast
Surrender The Coast is a Toronto, Canada indie band active from 2005 to 2010. The group is described as playing hardcore and post-hardcore, with one review characterising its sound as having a Southern rock tinge.
Early releases and line-up
The band’s early material is shaped by two-vocalist screamo-style arrangements. Its debut EP, Avert Your Eyes, marks its first release and is supported by live shows across the country on the band’s first tour.
In 2011 the group undergoes a major line-up change and a shift in musical direction. Melodic vocalist Jon Cowling leaves the band, after which the remaining members begin work on a new release titled Breaking Morals & Losing Morale.
Recorded work
Breaking Morals & Losing Morale is recorded in August 2011 and released in 2012.
