Superheroes

Superheroes are a Danish pop and rock group from Skive, Denmark, active from 1996 to 2006. They play synth-based indie pop and form around Thomas Troelsen and Asger Tarpgaard, who start the band in 1996.

Line-up

The group includes Thomas Troelsen on vocals and synthesizers, Thomas Christensen on drums, Tanja Simonsen on keyboard and backing vocals, Lars Hovendahl on bass, Bjarke Staun on guitar and synthesizers, and Asger Tarpgaard on guitar.

Releases

In 1997 the band issues a demo called The Blue One, which exists in a limited run of 500 copies. Their debut album, Dancing Casanova, appears in 1998, followed by Igloo in 2000 and Superheroes in 2002.
