Sunbeam

Sunbeam are a German trance duo made up of Michael Gerlach and Florian Preis, who also use the name Chrome & Price. They are active from 1992 and are based in Germany. Gerlach and Preis are also part of the Trance Allstars alongside DJ Taucher, Talla 2XLC, ATB, DJ Mellow-D and Schiller.

Gerlach and Preis are childhood friends and begin producing music together in the early 1990s. Their 1994 trance track Outside World brings them club success across Europe, and later singles include Arms Of Heaven and Dreams. Their style is associated with trance, club, hard trance, progressive trance, rave, electronic and techno.

After a period of inactivity, the pair work on other projects, including Art Bizarre’s Drop Into Me and Miss Shiva’s My Secrets and Ultimate Temptation.
