Suicidal Tendencies

Suicidal Tendencies is an American hardcore band formed in 1980 in Venice, California, by vocalist Mike Muir. Muir remains the only original member of the group. The band is often identified as one of the originators of crossover thrash, drawing together hardcore punk, punk and thrash metal influences.

Line-up and collaborators

The current line-up includes Muir, guitarists Dean Pleasants and Ben Weinman, bassist Tye Trujillo and drummer Greyson Nekrutman. Over the years, the band’s studio and live work also includes contributions from guitarists Rocky George and Mike Clark; bassists Louiche Mayorga, Robert Trujillo, Josh Paul and Stephen “Thundercat” Bruner; drummers Amery Smith, Jimmy DeGrasso, Brooks Wackerman, David Hidalgo Jr. and Thomas Pridgen; and session drummer Josh Freese.
